Kopatechnic Album Release Party-NYC Aug. 20, 2010

Dance music has evolved since its inception in the mid-80′s and nobody understands its growth like BMI Award-Winning Chicago native music producer/songwriter/remixer, Rodney K. Jackson (“Love Don’t Live Here Anymore (Madonna Remix)”, Cece Peniston’s “Finally”).

Born in the Netherlands, and reared in New York, Amber Dirks (Reflex Ft. Amber Dirks “Feel The Love”, DJ JST & Amber Dirks “Rejoice”, and Power 2 Move “Stepping Out”) offers her intoxicating vocals to the group.

East Coast native Jimmie Alston completes the troupe and infuses the vibrant Kopatechnic sound with his lyrical dexterity.

KopaTechnic

KopaTechnic

Combine a platinum/BMI award-winning dance music producer/remixer/musician, an internationally praised recording artist, and an innovative lyricist/rapper and the result is KopaTechnic. Consisting of members Amber Dirks, R.K. Jackson, and Jimmie Alston, Kopatechnic has begun its assault on dance floors in Europe and America with their infectious hit “When I Hit The Club”.

The idea for this group was born when producer/remixer R.K. Jackson (Cece Peniston, Madonna) asked Amber to sing lead on an upcoming project. Amber, fresh off a tour with a major international act, agreed and with the help of Jimmie Alston, Kopatechnic was created. The group is currently working on the follow-up single and album slated for a 2010 release.

Urban Tracks Entertainment, has produced artists on major and independent labels including A&M, Columbia, Motown, London Records, Tommy Boy, Epic, Atlantic, and Warner Bros. Urban Tracks Publishing is currently administered by Universal Music. Urban Tracks Records titles are available on all major digital outlets including iTunes, Rhapsody, Lala, eMusic, and Beatport.
